President's Message

                                                                         Sue McQuaid
Members! Members!

Do you have a NVCC membership card?
Have you reviewed our Member Benefits flyer? Did the Fall '09 NVCC News printed newsletter reach your mailbox?

Every NVCC member (and employees of corporate members) should possess a Membership Card which  entitles that person to a wide range of benefits. The Benefits are outlined on a flyer which can be accessed through the Member Benefits section of our website.  One of the most useful,  yet underutilized, benefit is the Member-to-Member Discount.

More than 160 Chamber businesses offer discounts to fellow Chamber members - you could be saving hundreds or thousands of dollars both personally and professionally by checking this list before hiring a contractor or buying an item ... and accessing this benefit means that you are supporting your local companies.  Give it a try!          Read More

For many companies big and small, business was fine just a short while ago. Now however, many find themselves in one of three categories:  1) business is solid, but could be a lot better since growth is flat; 2) business is OK, but they're trending down and losing margins; or 3) times are downright tough.
