The NVCC Tall Ships Cruise from UMass Boston was a day to remember. NVCC members sailed the seas to a very crowded Boston Harbor to get phenomenal views of the many beautiful Tall Ships at berth. Under the expert navigational skills of Captain Russ Bowles, of UMass Boston Division of Marine Operations, we enjoyed unsurpassed views of the harbor - it was a beautiful day!

Virtual Networking at Work Have you checked out the Neponset Valley Chamber LinkedIn Group? Stephen Pepe, Reverse Mortgage Consultant for Metlife Home Loans utilizes it to the max. A few weeks ago he was able to announce via LinkedIn that he would be "appearing" live on-air on WDIS AM 1170 on the "Doing Business With the Chamber" Show, broadcast three days a week from Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro at Patriot Place Foxboro.
Most recently, Stephen posted this "Success Story" on his LinkedIn page:
"Yes, the Chamber works for your business. I just got a great referral from a chamber member that resulted in a reverse mortgage application yesterday. I was able to pay it forward today by ordering an arrangement from Arthur Romanov at Edible Arrangements (even though there's another franchise location a lot closer to my home)". |
