SIGNIFICANT CARROWS RESTAURANT EVENT
On October 29th, 2010 forty+ of the CA Listening Team leaders met at a Carrows Restaurant to discuss the results of a survey they had asked all members to fill out concerning what they were hearing God saying about California. During the meeting, four separate & significant insights regarding A Line in the Sand came together. Their convergence
could only be explained by the hand of God:
Mariposa's Pastor Grace Falany shared a vision in which she saw Jesus drawing a line in the sand, saying, "Tell my people they must choose
now if they will cross the line & give their all to follow me." She spoke
of the men at the Alamo. Several others present were stunned as she said
this because they had just seen the same thing in a vision or a dream.
Bakersfield's Sue Rowe recalled a Line in the Sand drawn in 1565
when French Huguenots in Florida chose to be martyred at the hands
of the Spanish rather than deny their faith. 400 years ago almost to
the day of the Carrows meeting, Jean Ribault died chanting Psalm 132, literally begging God to make this nation a dwelling place for His presence.
Timothy Snodgrass, just in from the Philippines began pointing out
different people in the room saying, "I saw you, you, you & you
praying around a stadium for an event to be held on 11/11/11
and you don't have a clue what you are supposed to do there
because that is the way the Holy Spirit wants it...
He plans to run the meeting."
David Andrade, facilitator of the CA Listening Team brought a sealed
FedEx package from the Pasadena pastors. In it was a proposed
contract from the Rose Bowl Operating Co. offering one of two dates
to host an event there. David had no knowledge of this proposal as
he took the package to leave for Carrows. When he finally opened it
at the end of the meeting, the top of the contract form read
"A Line in the Sand."
