Films by Fosse Begins: Friday, Jan. 15 7:30 p.m. (Admission: Free, donations welcome)
Film series
featuring the directorial work of Bob Fosse. Fosse, often best remembered for
his trademark dance style, was an accomplished director as well.
Holly Hey, assistant professor of film at UT, was instrumental in arranging the series at the University.
She says, "I've always believed that Fosse, as a film director, was
before his time, misunderstood and undervalued-at least in America. This series
will give our students an invaluable opportunity to see an entire body of work
by a far too often forgotten filmmaker."
Film Screening Dates:
Jan. 15 7:30 p.m. Sweet Charity, 1969 (G)
Jan. 29 7:30 p.m. Cabaret, 1972 (PG)
Feb. 12 7:30 p.m. Lenny, 1974 (R)
Mar. 19 7:30 p.m. All That Jazz, 1979 (R)
Apr. 9 7:30 p.m. Star 80, 1983 (R)
