BASIC MISSION PLANTER TRAINING

"I was truly overwhelmed when I found out I was called to plant a church, but the BMPT truly helped me by showing me what God is already doing in this place, how he can use me, and how planting a church is an amazing and blessed journey. I would highly recommend this conference for anyone who has been called to plant or replant a congregation."

Rev. Todd Niebling
Mission Planter
Lancaster California

Strategic Plan

Basic Mission Planter Training is designed to help mission/church planters move their mission plants in the right direction. The week long event focuses on intentionalizing the work the planter does through the development of a strategic mission plan for the plant. Over the course of the week planters develop a mission statement, clarify values, write out a vision, and create strategies and goals. Additionally, planters learn principles of leadership and how to put together a launch team, explore how to connect with their ministry context, develop identity in the community, and explore ways get people through the doors of the church.

Designing Worship to Engage the Culture

We clearly have some choices when it comes to culture. We can retreat from it, ignore it, judge it, preserve it, or engage it. Luther clearly engaged the culture of his day in worship with music, messages, language, art, and expressions designed to connect with average persons in very relevant ways. Dare we do anything less today when heaven and hell are in the balance in our foolish culture? This seminar is designed to help you "Learn the language of Babylon" that you might have the opportunity to speak the language of Jesus Christ to its people in an understandable and relevant way while we are "strangers and exiles" in this foreign land.

Praise Team Basics
