Print Confidently. Your Printer is Safe With Us!

|
For about 20 years, Cartridge World has been perfecting the art of refilling and remanufacturing printer cartridges for businesses and consumers alike. It's no surprise, however, that over these many years we've found some people are nervous about using a refilled or remanufactured product. Many companies from warehouses to websites have produced, and continue to produce, substandard aftermarket printer cartridges that have left a stain on our industry. One common fear among customers, however, is that use of a Cartridge World quality printer cartridge will void your printer's warranty. In fact, name-brand companies have long hinted that this is the case by including warnings on their packaging and even the occasional message on a printer.
Proudly, we'd like to inform you and remind others that you have nothing to fear thanks to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act. Enacted in 1975 and carried out by the Federal Trade Commission, the act serves to protect you, the customer from deceptive warranty practices on consumer products like printer cartridges. Just as you have the right to install the oil filter of your choosing into the automobile you own without voiding your car's warranty, you have that same right when deciding which consumable to use in your inkjet or laser printer.
The time of being restricted to high-priced name brand consumables has certainly ended! We at Cartridge World San Diego are proud to offer you the highest quality refilled or remanufactured printer cartridge, at the lowest possible price, backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you've been nervous to try our product in the past, there's never been a better time than the present to begin saving money with Cartridge World's high quality printer cartridges. Call 858-581-9191 or visit us at 3952-H Clairemont Mesa Blvd. (in the Clairemont Town Square shopping center) to find out how much you can save!

Cartridge World 'Refills' Its Commitment to Earth Day

|
As a mountain of
e-waste continues to steadily form throughout our nation's landfills,
Cartridge World reinforces its commitment to environmental awareness by saluting Earth Day
on April 22 and joining the millions Americans across the country in
creating eco-friendly choices for consumers and businesses alike.
"With Earth Day fast approaching,
now is the perfect time of year to remind consumers of the ways to
create a 'green' home and work environment," said Steven Yeffa,
President of Cartridge World Americas. "Recycling programs for cans,
bottles and papers are mainstream, but few realize the additional
impact they can make by reusing and refilling printer ink cartridges."
"With our continued commitment to recycling,
we look forward to the day when reusing and refilling cartridges is as
common as separating waste materials in our homes," Yeffa added,
estimating that Cartridge World will keep nine million cartridges out
of landfills this year.
Cartridge World recommends the following tips for an environmentally friendly home office/business:
-
Reuse & refill empty ink jet and toner cartridges
-
Use rewriteable CDs and DVDs so they can be reused again
-
Print double sided
-
Decrease margin areas to fit more copy on a page
-
Double-check your drafts before you print
-
Communicate with team members about who will bring printouts to meetings
-
Turn off all electrical equipment at night
In keeping with its dedication to
implement green practices, Cartridge World has developed numerous
programs to make recycling printer cartridges easier for consumers and
businesses. In conjunction with this year's observance of Earth Day,
Cartridge World has launched a "Recycle it @ Cartridge World" campaign
that encourages consumers to recycle printer cartridges and cell phones
at participating stores. All collections will be sent to Clover
Technologies Group, the largest collector and recycler of cartridges
and cell phones, to be broken down and reused into other products. (Source-FranchiseWire)

10 tips for business bloggers

|
Mark Hayward, posting at Problogger, offers some advice to those of you who own a small business and are wondering how to make blogging work for you.
"Perhaps, if you're like me, you own business that
provides a service, manufactures goods or sells consumer products.
Blogging is NOT your business, but you use (or would like to use) it as
a tool to market and promote your venture.
When I was just getting started as a small business blogger one of
the smartest observations I heard on the subject came from Shana Albert
(a.k.a The Nanny612). She stated, quite simply: 'I don't make money from my blog, but I make money because of my blog.'
In essence, Shana uses her blog to strategically drive traffic to
her business website where she sells pre-school curriculum. Her words
of wisdom have stuck with me and I think any business, whether large or
small, can really succeed in doing the same thing."
Depending on how well you promote your blog (be sure to add it to your email signature at the very least) your ROI
may not happen in 3 to 6 months, but it will happen. We're seeing
around a hundred unique visits a day and customers are mentioning
having visited out website and blog.
Push it, pimp it, promote it. Don't let an opportunity pass to let
your customers, and potential customers, know about your blog. It's all
about communication and conversation.

Spring Cleaning Not Just For Spring... Tips From a Sales-Pro at Cartridge World

|
It truly doesn't matter what time of year it is, what type of business you run, or how often a customer comes through the door (in fact, you may not even have a door), the truth remains, however, that the cleanliness of your business can make or break your customer experience. Keeping your business clean, in fact, goes well-beyond vacuuming your floor or keeping your waiting room neat and should be a year-round exercise, not just in the Spring. A mess can travel electronically through your phone line or even hit the road via your delivery vehicle.
This article is partially inspired by the time of year. No, not spring cleaning, but rather tax season. We all have our "busy times," and right now accountants are at the peak of theirs so it's not hard for things in the office to get a bit out of hand. Imagine for a moment, you place a call to your accountant with a question (or one of your customers calls you during your busy time.) You ask your question and then you hear the rustle of paperwork in the background as the accountant stalls to get you an answer as they rummage through the mess. Your mind doesn't see a nice clean office but rather the insanity of hundreds of documents piled high. You've now been given the uneasy feeling everyone in business tries to avoid: You're not the only customer!
Our sales-pro tip to you this month is to do one thing every day at 4:55 PM or at whatever "5 minutes before the end of work" means to you. Take 5 minutes to clean your work area before you leave for the day. This could mean your desk, your van, your kitchen table...whatever your work environment is to you. Doing this simple 5 minute exercise daily will contribute to keeping your workplace clean helping you avoid problems like our accountant friend did. Even better, it will help increase your productivity! Having a clean work environment allows you to dive right in the next morning without having to rummage through the previous day's mess of paperwork to make sense of it all. Who knows? Those 5 minutes a day may just add up to hours of extra productivity, not to mention extra revenue!

An Apology

I know, March is almost over

|
I've been trying to get this issue of our newsletter out this entire month, and only today found the time to finish it up and get it sent out.
February was our most profitable month of operation since we opened nearly 5 years ago. We also lost out ink tech in February, so I'm pulling double duty as manager and ink tech.
We are looking to hire an ink technician so I can get back to overseeing operations and keeping our website, blog and newsletter current and informative. Please bear with me during this hectic period. I promise things will get back to normal soon despite the increase in production we are enjoying.
To make it up to you, look at the bottom of this issue for a valuable coupon, good through the end of April.
Thank you for your continuing subscription to our newsletter. If there's anything you'd like me to cover I haven't yet, send me an email with your suggestions. I appreciate any and all feedback.
