Cartridge Care Tips...

Customers ask us all the time, how they can best take care of their refilled or remanufactured printer cartridges to not only get the best, longest lasting results, but to ensure the cartridge can be refilled many times over. Here are some basic tips for you to keep in mind so we can get the most out of our recycling and refilling efforts...
When using an inkjet cartridge, don't try to get the last drop of ink out of your cartridge. Printers are smart... when they say they're empty, they're generally right! Trying to get the last drop out of your cartridge can burn out your cartridge making it un-refillable. When you do have an empty cartridge, bring it in or have it picked up as soon as you can. An empty cartridge can't sit around forever! Even leaving a printer cartridge right side up in your car or desk drawer will help improve our overall quality. Finally, don't leave your cartridge in a hot car. Even with a new cartridge, this could cause leaking, and that's no good for that nice upholstery of yours.
Laser cartridges (and plastics in general) also share the same dislike for excessive heat and even extreme cold. Even extreme light can negatively affect toner cartridges. It's also best never to try to open a laser cartridge. Toner is a very fine material, and trust us, it's nothing you want to mess with on your own which is why you trust the experts at Cartridge World! Finally, when you're toner cartridge is empty, throw it back in the original packaging with a "post-it" note saying it's empty. By not writing on the box, we'll be able to re-use it, lowering our overhead and waste, and passing the savings on to you!

#1 - Keep a few extra cartridges on hand, even more so than you would during the rest of the year. With the busy season upon us, things like ordering office supplies might sometimes get away from you. So avoid getting caught without a cartridge and ask us to bring a couple extras when we make our next delivery.
#2 - Make a resolution to save even more in 2009! Talk with us about setting up an annual contract that can save you money!
#3 - Print your company and personal holiday cards yourself, not at the local print shop! Since our product saves you so much money, often times printing cards for customers, family, and friends can be even cheaper and easier when you do it yourself with Cartridge World high quality ink and toner!

As 2008 draws to a close it's time to not only plan ahead, but also to make the best use possible of the remaining years budget.
