 Greetings!
I hope you've had a great April... now we're shimmying into May! My classes are working on dances for our Spring Hafla
that is coming up June 6th at Redwood Raks. I always love that show so
much because of all the work the newer dancers especially put into
their practicing. Be sure to come to classes so you can perform, and if
you have a dance you'd like to share in the Hafla you're welcome...
please just let me know soon. Groups are 5 minutes and solos are 3
minutes. Join the fun!
I'm so delighted to have two of my favorite dance/music friends join us in Arcata over the next several weeks. First Karim Nagi of international Turbo Tabla fame will be here May 11-12 and then the one and only Zoe Jakes will be here for workshops the weekend of our Spring Halfa, June 6th. Wow! Brigit's Pin-Up Belly Dance Class!
 Brigit Fraga is offering a cool fusion Belly Dance Class inspired by the Pin-Up Girls of the Golden Age of Hollywood (such as Bettie Page) with a modern, tribal edge.
