"Buy American" Supplier Business Opportunity
DVIRC is conducting Supplier Scouting searches to connect small and mid-sized U.S. manufacturers who can make the products government agencies need through the Buy American provision requirements. Leveraging DVIRC's knowledge of regional manufacturer capabilities, DVIRC is identifying manufacturers' production and technical capabilities to match them up with viable business opportunities that would have otherwise gone to foreign suppliers. Current U.S. Manufacturer Supplier Opportunities
- Federal Agency: Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, totaling $420,000 in potential business volume. Item Designation and Description: Steel fiber for use as discontinuous, distributed reinforcement of Ultra High Performance Concrete
- Unlike most of the past Buy American Supplier Scouting opportunities, the Department of Energy (Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy) (DOE EERE) needs help in finding a U.S. manufacturer that can provide Boilers at a lower cost. Because the grantee has already purchased the Boilers for this project, there will NOT be a specific order opportunity. However, all viable companies that can produce and meet the performance standards for the specified item will be placed on DOE EERE internal listings directing grantees to consider these companies for this item for the many future Buy American opportunities.
Future Supplier Opportunities will be posted at www.dvirc.org.
Contact Keith Ashlock at 215-552-3800 for more information about these or future opportunities.
