Gold Medal Cairns Show Wine Awards

In the recent Cairns Show Wine Awards we picked up a Gold Medal for our Winemakers Selection 2011 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc.
The annual Cairns Show Wine Awards are unique in many aspects, and is a highly recognised competition on the Australian wine calendar.

August 2012
Warm up this Winter at the Fireside Festival 1-31 August 2012. Embrace the cooler days and crisp nights by making Canberra your destination this winter.
Flint in the Vines Restaurant has a full calendar of events:
Fireside Fridays
Grab a table of 10 friends, and enjoy an evening in front of the open fireplace with your own dedicated waiter. This special Vintage Wellington Menu consists of a four-course meal with the main meal a large beef wellington (pastry made from scratch) cooked in the wood-fire oven, to be shared amongst your table. Other courses include wood-fired whole camembert, platters with three of our signature entrees...all rounded off with a decadent dessert of chocolate nemesis. With the first three courses paired with a vintage wine, some from Graeme Shaw's cellar, you are sure to have a great night! Download the menu here to review.

Vegas in the Vines 
In 1967, Las Vegas was a buzz in anticipation of the Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee show. Flint in the Vines is taking you back to enjoy a night of entertainment from that era. Annie Sloane as Peggy Lee, Tony Haley as Frank Sinatra and accompanied by The John Black Trio.
The one night only show will start with cocktails and canapés in the cellar door followed by the show and a three course meal, with an all inclusive price of $99 per person. The dining room at Flint in the Vines, transforms into a intimate Vegas cabaret, with a roulette table to test your luck and the evening will be accompanied by American inspired food. Dress to the nines to get into the spirit of things if you so desire and to be in running to win! 6:30pm cocktails and canapes for 7pm

We are delighted to announce that we are hosting our very own 'Cellar Door in the City' right in the heart of Sydney, as part of the 2012 Crave Sydney Morning Herald International Food Festival. This Cellar Door will be jam packed with the finest wines from our premium range, tickets only $30 (including a Riedel glass valued at $30) and are on sale from 9am Saturday 18 August 2012.

Laughter Series now on wineclub.com.au

Our Laughter Series wine range produced to raise funds for Camp Quality is now available on our wineclub website, offering better value and greater flexibility.
Previously this range was only available by the case. Now you can order by the bottle both online and at cellar door for only $10 per bottle with 40% going directly to Camp Quality. To ensure your state does not miss out on these much needed funds, the donation goes to the Camp Quality office in the state in which you ordered from.

Flint in the Vines wins Tourism Award |
Congratulations to Kate & Jai and the team at Flint in the Vines Restaurant for winning the Inland Tourism Award for the best Tourism Restaurant and Catering Service. A well deserved win!
 The CountryLink Inland Tourism Awards (INTA) are held annually to acknowledge excellence in tourism in the four regional tourism areas of Central, Inland, Murray and Riverina NSW.
Entrants are made up of tourism businesses, events, marketing organisations, clubs and individuals all aiming for excellence in their industry.
They will now go on to compete in the NSW State Tourism Awards, and if successful, go onto the National Tourism Awards. Good luck!! |
