* It's the start of a new year and lots of cool things are happening. I've signed a new record deal with an outstanding label, Koch Records, and am already working on the new CD, due out late spring/early summer of 2008. * I'm getting ready for the All Star Music Festival in San Diego Jan. 18-20, after which I set sail on the All Star Smooth Cruise to Mexico. I am looking forward to spending time with all the music lovers on board, as well as hosting the Jam Sessions. * There are great dates already lined up for 2008 with more coming. * My terrific sponsorships continue: Epiphone Guitars has once again provided a guitar for a lucky winner on the All Star Smooth Cruise, and I'll be doing a special performance at the NAMM show in Anaheim exclusively for them as well (not open to the general public but you can come see me in San Diego at the All Star Music Festival!). Stacy Adams is hooking me up with all sorts of great clothes for 2008 - gotta maintain my image, ya know! Check out their websites (links at the end of the newsletter).

Nick is very pleased to announce that he has signed with prestigious Koch Records, and his debut CD "No Limits" will be released late spring/early summer 2008. Nick and the famed rock band Heart will be performing on Saturday evening, January 19, at the Epiphone Guitars' VIP show "Heart & Soul" at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. Epiphone is famous for their great NAMM parties and this one is sure to be jam packed. The NAMM Show is the largest music products trade show in United States and is not open to the general public. The Brian Culbertson Soulful Christmas tour, photo by Carol Ray December was full of the Christmas spirit as the Brian Culbertson Soulful Christmas tour made its way across the country. Brian, Nick, Gerald Albright and Howard Hewett made the holidays downright funky and had a great time doing it. Thanks to Brian for a great tour. New Year's Eve found Nick and the band in Atlanta for the FM Concerts/WJZZ "Ring in the New Year" show with Dave Koz, Paul Taylor, Brian Simpson, and Joey Sommerville. What a show that was! Many thanks to Jason Flurry and Dave Kosh for hooking up an great night.
Well, it's finally here - the All Star Music Festival and Cruise!!! Nick will be performing twice during the All Star Music Festival - once with the All Stars on Saturday afternoon, January 19 and again on Sunday evening, January 20, when he and the band perform with R&B legends Kool and The Gang. Then it's all aboard the Elation for the All Star Smooth Cruise and five days of music, sun and fun...not to mention the best jam sessions on land or sea! Nick headlines and hosts the Jam Sessions for the third time! Join him, host Norman Brown and many of your favorite music stars for a fun-filled cruise to Cabo and Ensenada! There are a few cabins remaining so if last minute plans are your thing, check it out.
Nick is delighted to be returning to the VF Outlet Berks Jazz Fest again, and this year will be headlining in the Ballroom at Wyndham's historic Abraham Lincoln Hotel on Thursday, April 3, in Reading, PA. The talented keyboardist Brian Simpson will be opening this great show which starts at 7:30 p.m. Later that evening, Nick will participate in the Berks All Star Jam which will be held in the Ballroom of the Sheraton Reading Hotel. You can get a double dose of Nick on this wonderful night for music!
