Online Exhibit: Early Manufacturing, Guilford

Guilford

Guilford Woolen Mill Finishing Room Crew, ca. 1890

This week, teams from three communities--Surry, Strong, and Swan's Island--will come to MHS for orientation and training to prepare them to spend the coming year researching their town history, developing their capacity to collaborate and share resources, and to create new websites on Maine Memory Network. This exhibit, created by Guilford's town manager as part of last year's MCHP cohort, explores Guilford's proud manufacturing history. Visit the exhibit.
