SHANNON PLUMB, kicks off a great idea with KICK STARTER, A New Way to Fund and Follow Creativity!
Every month, tens of thousands of amazing people pledge millions of dollars to projects from the worlds of music, film, art, tech

nology, design, food, publishing and other creative fields. One of the ways this is possible is through a new funding platform called Kickstarter. Kickstarter is powered by a unique all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands.
One of our clients, Shannon Plumb, has started her own Kickstarter project and has already raised $1,400 backed by 12 individuals, some who she has never met. The money raised through her Kickstarter campaign will be used to rent projectors to fund her project.
Shannon's Kickstarter project is to make her films accessible to people on the street. She wants to fill 10 windows with 10 videos of her performances. The action in the video will be shaped by the neighborhood and the architecture and by the dwellers of that building. Her hope is that it will surprise people going about they're everyday lives, giving them something to take away- maybe a smile and an experience. To show these videos to the public she will put a screen on the window in a city building and use rear projection to throw the images onto the window. People passing by will see the video from the sidewalk.
