As all the networks and media outlets step up their effort to broadcast in HD, the need for HD material has never been greater!! Most major TV channels are finally beginning to broadcast in HD, and this creates an opportunity for filmmakers to get their previous high quality work picked up by the networks. Inevitably, music videos, commercials, independent feature films and episodic television will remaster their material in HD. One of the great advantages of originating in film is that it can be remastered to better quality given modern technology. All Super8 film has more resolution capacity than the quality that can be put out on standard definition video. By rescanning your film to HD you can see a tremendous improvement in quality and repurpose your footage to be used in modern applications. Just as the studios remaster and re-release their classic films and shows to HD, you can remaster your film project releasing it in 1080 HD resolution.
Our fabulous Millennium II HD Scanner from Cintel Industries with daVinci 2K color correction will improve the resolution and color of your footage in gorgeous 1080. The scanners' Y Front technology has superior dirt and scratch concealment. This is something that we did not have the technology for at Pro8mm even 3 years ago, and dramatically improves the cleanliness of scanned material. The M2 scanner has virtually no video noise, making the resulting scan completely film natural. Finally, we can modernize the look of your project by setting up the frame in 16 x 9. This is possible because the M2 has a zoom framing function can be applied without loss of resolution.
Because we have already scanned your film once, we want to give you a special break so that you can move it from the SD to the HD platform.
