 Clean Across America 2007 Takes Off With A Proud Start!   |

Hi there! PWNA's Clean Across America National Campaign takes off today July 24th 2007 through July 31st 2007.  Each Summer PWNA members roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help their own communities. Today marks the start of this years Clean Across America Campaign. We are already off to a great start. Members of PWNA went to Washington last week to clean the Lincoln Memorial for the second year in a row. While we were there, PWNA accepted the Take Pride in America Award for 2007. One of 18 winners in the USA! PWNA would like to officially announce Clean Across America 2007!!! We thank all of you ahead of time for your  participation; we're proud to have you part of our team.  |

 PWNA received over 10 Pledge forms from Members and their companies interested in cleaning the Lincoln Memorial this year. Over 41 Contractors in all helped with the efforts. PWNA  Members gathered early at the Lincoln Memorial entrance Wednesday July 18th.                
  
             PWNA would like  to take a moment to thank all those who donated their time and equipment in cleaning the Lincoln Memorial this year.  
Total project length was 5:00 am - 4:oo pm 
38 On-Site Volunteers which totaled 418 Man Hours!!!

PWNA Heads to the White House to accept the 2007 Take Pride in America Award!  
  
  
  
  WASHINGTON, DC:
  Deputy Secretary Lynn Scarlett, together with USA Freedom Corps Acting Director Kathy Wills Wright and Take Pride in America Executive Director Heather Roebke, recognized the outstanding achievements of the 2007 Take Pride in America National Award winners on Thursday, July 19th. Deputy Secretary Scarlett presented awards to 18 organizations, partnerships and individuals from 12 different states and the District of Columbia representing exceptional examples of stewardship.
