Forum on Funding for Our Schools

How do we maintain consistent, reliable funding for our schools and ensure our students receive the necessary investment?  Come participate in a discussion with State and County officials as we explore the issues surrounding the Maintenance of Effort law and both state and county funding for our schools.

Dr. Joshua Starr, the superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools, will present his proposed fiscal year 2013 operating budget for the school system during a speech at Wednesday, December 7, in the auditorium of Richard Montgomery High School. The event is open to the public and is a great opportunity to learn about the school budget.
