Greetings!

This month, we examine Spirit Guides,
and different approaches to contacting and communicating with them and more!

Spirit Guides

Spirit Guides are non-incarnate beings that make themselves available to individuals to aid and inform. They may be personal guides or perhaps even well known entities that regularly help many people.

Frequently Spirit Guides reveal themselves is through inner vision and inner voice.  The use of a crystal ball can aid in contacting and working with your Spirit Guide.

Approaching
Your
Spirit Guide

When using a crystal ball to work with a Spirit Guide, there are, traditionally, two different approaches. While both approaches have merit, it is important for you to have a clear understanding of which technique you want to use.

The first approach is probably the oldest. This is where the Spirit Guide is coming through the crystal ball itself. The Spirit Guide uses the crystal as kind of locus or seat from which to deliver you messages. To take this approach, it is most useful to have a crystal dedicated specifically to each Spirit Guide that assists you.

The second approach uses the crystal ball as a tool of focus and concentration in communicating with your Spirit Guide. Here the Spirit Guide is delivering the messages directly to you and not via the crystal. The crystal is used to direct and elevate your attention to enhance the contact with your Spirit Guide. A crystal ball set aside specifically for spirit work is advisable.

When choosing which approach to take, it is important to remember that it is not a matter of right or wrong but a matter of Spirit.
A Simple Approach
to Your Spirit Guide

This is a simple exercise that will help you open to contact from your Spirit Guide.

Before you begin the work, it is important to put yourself into the  proper emotional state. You should be relaxed and comfortable. To prepare, ask that your Spirit Guide send you a message or indication.

Begin by sitting comfortably with your sphere in gazing position.

Adjust your breathing as follows:
Inhale on a count of four.
Hold the breath in on a count of two.
Exhale on a count of four.
Hold out on a count of two before inhaling again. Repeat.
You will maintain this breathing for the whole exercise. (It becomes second nature with just a little practice.)

Gazing into your crystal ball, be very aware of your Spirit Guide. Be prepared for a visitation. Your first contact might just be a whisper to your inner ear or a flash of vision to your inner eye. What you will notice is a strong awareness of "other." This is an understanding that the message or insight came from outside yourself. This is contact with Spirit.

"I want to thank you all at the Crystal Silence League for the prayers. It has been a true blessing knowing that I've got help carrying my burden."
