The Loving Seer
This month we are exploring how to cultivate and maintain a loving relationship with the aid of crystal gazing. A relationship is a two-way process. With this in mind, we can prepare ourselves for love as well as attract love to us.
We have two exercises this month. One exercise summons love and the other helps prepare you to receive that love once it finds you.

Summoning a Lover to You
 This exercise is designed to attract a lover to you. You may have no prospect in mind, or you may have an interest in someone in particular, and this method will work in either case. It can be done with a clear crystal. However, many find a pink or rose colored stone or glass crystal helps them to attune to the energies of finding a new lover, turning a friend into a lover, or bringing about a reconciliation with a lover after a quarrel or break-up. Likewise, while a red colored stone or glass crystal may be most useful when envisioning the desire for the sexual aspects of a love relationship.
Before you begin the work, it is important to put yourself into the proper emotional state. You should be relaxed and comfortable.
Begin by sitting comfortably with your sphere in gazing position.
Adjust your breathing as follows:
Inhale on a count of four. Hold the breath in on a count of two. Exhale on a count of four. Hold out on a count of two before inhaling again. Repeat.
You will maintain this breathing for the whole exercise. (It becomes second nature with just a little practice.)
As you continue the breathing, become aware of your heart and your heartbeat. Visualize rose-pink or red energy or light around your heart. (The color may correspond to that of your stone or glass crystal, or be complementary to its color.) Allow the image of rose-pink or red energy to become stable, and then project that energy from your heart to the crystal. Allow the crystal to become filled with your rose-red heart energy.
As this energy is moving from you to the crystal, allow yourself to give love. Experience sharing love towards the crystal.
When the crystal is filled, let the energy be released into the world, either by name, to one person, or by a description (such as "my future husband!"). This sends your potential for love to all those who are open to it.
Perform this exercise for a minimum of three minutes and a maximum of ten minutes. Afterwards, treat yourself to some small pleasure.

Preparing Yourself for Love
A loving relationship is a two way street. You may use your crystal to summon the lover of your dreams to you, but if, due to past disappointments and sorrows, you yourself are not properly prepared to share true love, then the results could be disastrous.
The following exercise will assist you in being fully open and receptive to the love which you attract to yourself.
As with the exercise in which you attract love, you may chose a clear, pink, rose, or red stone or glass crystal, according to your desires.
Before you begin, make yourself comfortable and relaxed. This exercise is perfect after a hot bath or when you are ready for sleep.
Begin in gazing position. Some find that this exercise is stronger if the crystal is held in the hands rather than kept on a stand. Experiment to see which of the gazing positions suits you best.
Be sure your breathing is even and regular.
Become aware of love in the world. From the smallest gestures to the grandest acts, know that love is there.
As you gaze into the crystal now, visualize a gentle pink, rose, or red glow emanating from the center of the crystal and radiating out in all directions. Experience this as love.
See and feel the red energy moving through you, through your mind and body.
Allow yourself to absorb this loving energy.
Hold this for one to five minutes. (You can maintain this work for longer providing that you maintain a strong visualization.)
When finished, go to sleep or spend some time relaxing and enjoying the effects of your work.
