The Sierra Business Council and NPR hosted an evening "Conversation with Bill McKibben" on April 17th in Truckee, CA. The audience was comprised of admirers of Bill's work ( he is world famous for his environmental bestselling books & the 350.org mission ) on environmental concerns. Many of the attendees are actively engaged in a wide range of business and eco-friendly initiatives to protect and share our natural treasures in the Sierra Nevada. The John Muir Highway Geotourism project found key supporters in the group, especially Bill McKibben himself (see Bill proudly wearing his John Muir Highway Geotourism hat below).
