Greetings,

For a great vacation trip and a better understanding of the childhood experiences that formed John Muir's character, you should consider visiting his birthplace in Dunbar, Scotland. Hard work, incredible study habits and lots of free time testing himself in nature along the North Sea's rocky coastline produced a man & a mind to be admired.
