Greetings,

Every University of Pacific incoming freshman for the Fall semester this year will receive a special gift,--- their own copy of Essential Muir - A selection of John Muir's best writings. The students will be introduced to the unique life and wisdom of one of America's most acclaimed leaders in the history of the global conservation movement through this grant to the John Muir Center.

You also can gain a view into Muir's insights by purchasing your own copy of Muir Ramble Route and attending this year's annual John Muir Celebration on June 4th. You, your family, and friends will enjoy the festivities in Lake Don Pedro, Coulterville, Greeley Hill, Groveland and Smith Station.

Information about Docent tours ( Bower Cave ), biking tours, nature walks, the Wild Adventures of John Muir play and family friendly festivities can be found at the links below.

News about the John Muir Highway Geotourism Project and our "3 Core Principles" (FAQs) will be updated and posted at www.JohnMuirHighway.net . Please share the Newsletter with friends.
