A Bid Addendum has been posted for the IFB for Section 2: Intent, Use, Duration, and Scope on pages 5-6 which modifies the total cost from $40,000 to $80,000:

The Geospatial Multistate Archive and Preservation Partnership (GeoMAPP) is supported by the United States Library of Congress' National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program (NDIIPP) . Current GeoMAPP partner states are North Carolina, Kentucky, Montana, and Utah. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and any resulting contract is to solicit a consultant to support the GeoMAPP activity of developing business planning tools specific to the process of digital preservation of geospatial content. The period of performance will be from June 13, 2011 through October 31, 2011

 

The responding consultant will engage the GeoMAPP partnership participants in the evaluation of business planning materials created by GeoMAPP partners to date based on experiences in the participating states. The selected firm will create deliverables consisting of informational documents, guidelines, and templates suitable for developing a comprehensive business plan for digital geospatial preservation in an enterprise public sector environment.

Additional background information is available at http://www.geomapp.net/, including draft materials developed to date by the business planning working group of the GeoMAPP team. This RFP will select one (1) respondent proposal. A maximum of $40,000 is available for creating the deliverables. Important IFB information:
