Stud Signing Sunday!
On Sunday, August 7th Peace will worship at our NEW BUILDING...and will end the service with a time to sign the studs! This is a chance for your name (and thoughts) to be saved forever within the building. After we sign the studs, the insulation and drywall will cover it all up. It's an exciting day for Peace...don't miss out! Please bring a lawn chair since we don't yet have anywhere to sit! |

Becky Graves will contact those serving meals to get directions to your house (unless you have made alternate arrangements) and find out what time you would like to serve the meal.

Please provide minimum 20 snacks/day (2 snacks for 10 people) and deliver the snack directly to the building site prior to 9 am on the first day you volunteered. Cheese/crackers and fresh fruit would be greatly appreciated. If no one is moving around on the site when you arrive, you can place the snacks in the work trailer (refrigerator inside). Thank you for volunteering! |
Construction Schedule
The shingles are coming!!
If you plan to help at all this summer, Chad Nelson is coordinating volunteers. Let him (or the church office) know it you'd like to help build our new building! You don't have to have any special skills...all are invited!

Good Earth Village Open: Monday, August 8th
Good Earth Village is our local Bible Camp (near Spring Valley). Join them for a day of good times and golf at Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester, MN. The four-person scramble will start at 12:30 pm with Dinner and Awards immediately following.

God Squad Mt. Olympus Trip
On Wednesday, August 10th the Dover-Eyota God Squad will spend the day at our annual trek to Mt. Olympus in the Dells. If you plan to attend, please let Jan Begin (jbegin@olmmed.org) know by August 1st! |
Weekly Campfires
On Wednesday nights at 6:00 we invite you to the church lot for a weenie roast, potluck, scripture, and prayers. This is a great time to see how the building is progressing, get to know the Mission Builders, and enjoy some good company! Hot dogs and buns are provided...
