Prepare/Enrich Certification Workshop 

  • AGTS will host a Prepare/Enrich certification workshop on Saturday, February 11 from 9 a.m. til 5 p.m.
  • Workshop is open to all AGTS alum and aCouplective, full-time AGTS, CBC, and EU students at a discounted rate of $150.
  • Registration fee for current MFT II students is included with course registration.
  • Fee includes registration and initial testing supplies, training materials, assessment handbooks, and certification.
  • Registration must be received by February 3.

  • The 5th Annual AGTS Golf Tournament will be held on May 3 at 8:30 a.m. at Millwood Golf Golf Balland Racquet Club in Springfield, Missouri
  • All proceeds will to to student scholarships.

Christian Worldview Essay Contest

  • Sponsored by the Trinity Foundation
  • Student must be age 24 or younger
  • Prizes:
    • First place: $3,000
    • Second place: $2,000
    • Third place: $1,000
  • Write essay on the book: Without a Prayer: Ayn Rand and the Close of her System by John W. Robbins

Academic Writing Course

  • If you wish to improve your grades on writing projects, sign up for this one-hour (non credit) course.
  • Enrollment is limited to 16.
  • Class is held Friday, February 2, 2:00-9:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 3, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Class attendance qualifies you for up to 20 hours of one-on-one time with a writing coach.
  • Fifty percent tuition discount this semester.
  • Enroll by February 1.

 Attention Spring Graduates

  • Comprehensive examinations and the deadline for submitting analytical reflection papers is Monday, March 11.
  • Follow the guidelines for the analytical reflection paper.
  • Contact the Faculty Secretary, Janice Brueggemann, if you have any questions.


Fall 2012 Practicums

  • Fall practicums must be approved and processed February 4-8.
  • Make an appointment with Dr. Angela Reid for counseling practicums.
  • All other practicum applications are available from Warren Newberry, Randy Walls, or Taurina Smith.

Business Office News


Deferred Payment Dates

  • Deferred payments for the spring semester are due on or before February 15 and March 15.
  • Payments must be received in the Business Office on or before these dates in order to avoid the $25 per month late fee.

Spring 2012 Scholarships

  • Scholarships for the spring term will post to student accounts by the first of February.
  • If you are a recipient, please review your February account statement carefully to make sure that the award and the accurate amount have been posted.
  • Please report any discrepancies to the Business Office as soon as possible.

In the rare event that classes are cancelled due to severe winter weather, the major television and radio stations Ice Covered Car

in Springfield will be notified that the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary has cancelled classes.  Before calling the seminary, listen for such announcments.


In the event of inclement weather, students may call the weather hotline to find out if classes have been cancelled or delayed: 417-269-1051.
