Course Option for AGTS Students

  • "Leadership Roles of Women," taught by Dr. Barbara Cavaness
  • Course Description: Does the Bible give any limits to what leadership roles may be filled by females? Scriptues from Genesis to Revelation shed light for both men and women on this and other contemporary issues. The course will discuss what the Bible says about male-female relationships in the home, church, and community. Difficult texts will be addressed in their contexts.  (Main textbook: God's Women--Then & Now by Deborah Gill and Barbara Cavaness).

In the rare event that classes are cancelled due to severe winter weather, the major television and radio stations in Springfield will be notified that the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary has cancelled classes.  Before calling the seminary, listen for such announcments.
