  • Dr. Johan Mostert will address the topic of "Truth & Reconciliation in South Africa" and Dr. Bob Berg, from Evangel University, will present, "Lessons from The Shack." 

November 8, 2 p.m.

  • Dr. Geoff Sutton, from Evangel University, will discuss "Integrating Theological and Psychological Perspectives in Psychotherapy" and Dr. Lois Olena will address "Forgiveness, Reconciliation, and Segregation: The Case of Robert Harrison."  

November 15, 9 a.m.

  • Special Prayer Chapel for the Consolidation of the three General Council schools.

Improve Your Writing!

  • Graduate work can be frustrating if your academic writing competency is not where it should be. We recommend the following options depending on the level of help you need.
    • Have a fellow student edit your written assignments and coach you on how to improve.
    • Enroll in RES 512 Academic Writing. Receive a total of 13 hours of classroom instruction in a weekend module, and up to 20 hours of one-to-one coaching. This one-hour, noncredit course will be offered in the spring semester at half the regular tuition rate. Enrollment reached maximum capacity during Fall 2011, so be sure to sign up early. 


Great Course Opportunities!

  • BIB 640/MHT 639: Africa Encounters the Book: Contextualized Biblical Interpretation with Dr. Doug Lowenberg, J. Philip Hogan Professor of World Missions for 2012. This course fulfills a biblical studies requirement for some degree programs or serves as an elective in the MAIM program.
  • BOT 641/BTH 640: Answers to Difficult Old Testament Questions--a new course offered by Dr. Roger Cotton. 

 Fall Graduates  

  • Monday, October 31: Comprehensive examination date and deadline for analytical reflections paper.

 Special Event  

  • Friday, October 21 at 3 p.m.
  • Muslim students will come to AGTS to share their views on the "Arab Spring."  

AGTS Board Meeting 

  • AGTS board members will be on campus November 9 for the fall Board Meeting.

  • Make sure to fall back an hour on Saturday night, November 5 so you are not an hour early to church on Sunday morning!

Deferred Payment Schedule

  • The third deferred payment date is November 15.
  • In order to avoid late charges, payments must be made on or before that date. 

Account Status

  • Please make sure your student account is up-to-date by the end of the fall semester.
  • Students whose accounts are not paid in full will not be permitted to enroll for any subsequent semesters until their outstanding balance has been paid in full.
