The Assemblies of God
Theological Seminary
Press Release For Immediate Release
The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit March 14-16, by a team representing The Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in the United States and Canada and The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. AGTS has been accredited with ATS since 1992 and HLC since 1978 and was last awarded accreditation with each in 2001.

For the past year and half, AGTS has been engaged in a process of self-study, addressing the standards of ATS and the criterion of HCL for accreditation and has prepared a written report. The evaluation team will visit the institution to gather evidence that the self-study is thorough and accurate. The team will recommend to ATS and HLC a continuing status for the college; following a review process, ATS and HLC will take the final action.

The public is invited to review the Self-Study Report and submit comments regarding AGTS at  http://www.agts.edu/academics/selfstudy.html. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs.

AGTS is one of the world's leading Pentecostal seminaries.
