Dr. Amos Yong Lecture 

 

Listen to Dr. Amos Yong speak on Paul's theology of disability.  The lecture, "One Body, Many Members: St Paul's Charismatic Ecclesiology and the Renewal of Disability," focused on answering the questions: "Was St. Paul the first disabled theologian?" and "Was he also the first charismatic theologian of disability?" 

 

 SPS Annual Meeting

 

SPS ProgramThe Society for Pentecostal Studies 40th Annual Meeting will be hosted by Memphis Theological Seminary and All Saints Bible College in Memphis, TN on March 10-12, 2011. The meeting will begin with a full day of sessions on Thursday and end with a banquet on Saturday night.

 

The 2011 theme is "Receiving the Future: An Anointed Heritage." Along with plenary and Interest Group sessions, the conference includes worship, a reception, morning devotions, working-lunch meetings, a Society business meeting, and a banquet.  Register online at www.sps-usa.org.

Dr. Steve Badger ('95) and Dr. Mike Tenneson ('91) recently had a chapter titled "Teaching Origins to Pentecostal Students" published in "The Spirit Renews the Face of the Earth: Pentecostal Forays in Science and Theology of Creation," Amos Yong, ed., Eugene, OR: Pickwick Press, 2009.  Steve and Mike are science professors at Evangel University.
