Nims Accreditation
  NIMS accreditation group pic
Jones County Junior College was recently notified it is now the only post-secondary program in Mississippi to be accredited by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills.  This means students graduating from the Jones program have met a national standard of skills making them more employable.
The process to be considered for accreditation took two years to complete because it meant upgrading equipment, revamping the curriculum and retraining faculty and students.
