JUCO World Series Update
The Bobcats are HOT!  Last night, the #6 JCJC Baseball team had to fight off #14 Kellogg Community College of Battle Creek, (Mich.) to earn the win in the 10th inning, at the Junior College Baseball World Series in Enid, Oklahoma.
After stunning the top ranked team, Heartland Community College (Ill.) Hawks on Monday, the Bobcats may have felt a little over confident in the match-up against the Bruins Tuesday night.   As Shawn Wansley, JCJC SID reports, last night's game was a little more intense.
The Bobcats and Bruins were scoring pretty evenly until the Bobcats lost a two-run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning.  They scored three runs in the top of the 10th inning and managed to hold on for the win.
The 45-15 Bobcats will be facing the only other unbeaten team in the tournament, Madison Area Technical College of Wisconsin at 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday).
