Greetings!

From time to time there is given, to those who seek the ongoing Reformation of the church according to the Word of God, a time of mourning. And it is for times such as these that we have been given the Psalms.

Psalm 137 (ESV)

By the waters of Babylon, there we sat down and wept,

            when we remembered Zion.

On the willows there

            we hung up our lyres.

For there our captors

            required of us songs,

and our tormentors, mirth, saying,

"Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"

How shall we sing the Lord's song

            in a foreign land?

If I forget you, O Jerusalem,

let my right hand forget its skill!

Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth,

if I do not remember you,

if I do not set Jerusalem

            above my highest joy!

Remember, O Lord, against the Edomites

             the day of Jerusalem,

how they said, "Lay it bare, lay it bare,

            down to its foundations!""

O daughter of Babylon, doomed to be destroyed,

blessed shall he be who repays you

with what you have done to us!

Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones

and dashes them against the rock!

The Foundation for Reformed Theology is committed to the ongoing Reformation of the church of Jesus Christ according to the Word of God.

We are committed to promoting a Reformed understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a Reformed understanding of the human response to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to working for better preaching of the gospel of Jesus  Christ, for better teaching of the Scriptures as the Word of God and of the historic faith of the church, and for better pastoral care of the people of God by the application of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lives of the people of God.

We invite all who share these commitments to join with us in these efforts. We seek your prayers, we seek your work, we seek your diligence, we seek your support, and we seek your gifts. Thank you for your consideration.
