SAY IT Proud Awards at the Pittsfield Youth Commission's Talent Show, April 15, 7 pm

 Six SAY It Proud Awards will be presented at the Pittsfield Youth Commission's Talent Show tomorrow, April 15 at 7 pm, Barrington Stage Co, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield. Please join us in supporting these exceptional young people and enjoy the diverse talent of Berkshire County youth! Our winners are: Javier Cotto, Michaela Gilmore, Brittany Nicholson, Allison Pierce, Julia Pringle-Wallace and Nicole Valuski.
A big thank you goes out to Greylock Federal Credit Union, Berkshire Bank and the Pittsfield Family YMCA for all the prizes awarded to our S.A.Y. It Proud winners.

A Community Conversation on Teen Pregnancy

The Berkshire County Initiative on Teen Pregnancy has been hard at work gathering community responses to surveys on atttitudes about teen pregnancy. The results of the 900+ folks who were surveyed will be presented at a Community Conversation at Taconic High School, 96 Valentine Road, on April 27th from 5 - 7 pm.

Next PPP Quarterly Meeting: Safe Prom Presentation May 11, 5 pm, Berkshire Museum
| | On May 11th, Dr. Donald Scherling, the Medical Director of the McGee Unit at BMC, will be speaking about the effect of Alcohol on Teen Brain Development. We especially encourage Prom Going Students and their parents to attend. A drawing for prizes will include gift cards for all your prom needs: restaurants, salons, florists, Dierdre's and Steven Valenti's. The Red Cross Youth Leadership Program will also be giving a short presentation. The next PPP Quarterly Meeting is open to all those interested in the work of the PPP.
