Controlled Path of Light |

In a properly cut diamond, regardless of size, the achievable goal is sparkle. When a diamond is cut with correct depths and angles all light entering, no matter from what direction, will always exit at the proper angle to give a stone the characteristic a great diamond needs, sparkle.
Over 100 years ago a Boston cutter, Henry Morris, said, "Shopping for a diamond by the carat weight is like buying a racehorse by the pound." That's still true today. It's sparkle, not weight, that makes a great diamond. |
