Earlier we sent our list of activist campaign websites, along with a short list of the websites of activist investors (below). Well, we have received a number of suggestions and additions, so we updated the listing. It now features these companies:
  • Baja Mining
  • Canadian Pacific
  • Cracker Barrel
  • CSP
  • ITEX
  • Princeton National Bankcorp
  • State Street
  • USA Technologies
  • Yahoo

We also list ten activist investor home pages.

Further suggestions always welcome.

Websites of Activist Investors

How about a compendium of websites that activist investors establish for specific activist campaigns? They range from the compelling to the mundane.

We don't seek to critique individual efforts, though. We'll leave that to Inside Investor Relations, a website run by IR Magazine whose current edition reviews a few such websites. (Full access might require registration or even a subscription.)

Instead, we merely assembled and published links to these and some other current campaign websites, on a new page on the TAI website. These includes ones for Yahoo, Cracker Barrel, and Canadian Pacific Railway.

While we're at it, we include the websites for a few major activist investors, at least those with websites, such as Biglari Holdings, Relational Investors, and Starboard Value. All are easy to find, but we hope it helpful to have them in one place.

Comments, and especially suggestions for additional campaign and investor websites, are always welcome.

You can find other useful resources at the TAI website, including our research on "Effective Activism, on the Cheap", the new guide to executive compensation, bibliography of academic research on the returns to activist investing, and our white paper with the basics on activism.
