If you're an investor that wants to turn around an underperforming portfolio company, then TAI is for you.

Management listens to The Activist Investor.

...but why does it exist?

We recently surfed around an interesting Internet database at ProxyMonitor.org, worth a look. We don't completely understand it, but we're happy to use it.

The website houses a database (sortable, searchable) of annual meeting resolutions from 2008 to the present, for the 100 largest US corporations. Pretty nifty.

We take a look at the database, including the surprising organization behind it, in our recent blog post.
You can find other useful resources at the TAI website, including our research on "Effective Activism, on the Cheap", the new guide to proxy access, bibliography of academic research on the returns to activist investing, and our white paper with the basics on activism.
