Management listens to The Activist Investor.
Activist Investing Project: Comarco, Inc.

Comarco, in Lake Forest, CA (Orange County) designs and manufactures power supplies for mobile electronics, including laptops, mobile phones, iPads, and similar gadgets. Its unique, patented technology allows you to power and charge a wide range of different devices, and to handle two or more devices using the same wall outlet or car cigarette lighter.

Our involvement as an investor in Comarco culminated last month in a restructuring of the Board of Directors, and included the election of Michael Levin as Chairman of the Board.

Investors and new management have embarked on a strategy to return the company to profitability. We'll provide further updates in coming weeks and months.

You can find the ChargeSource charger at Best Buy and other electronics retailers, marketed under the Targus brand. It's useful, and you'll leave at home the brick-like chargers that came with your laptop and cellphone.

You can find other useful resources at the TAI website, including our research on "Effective Activism, on the Cheap", the guide to proxy access and guide to exec comp, bibliography of academic research on the returns to activist investing, and our white paper with the basics on activism.
