Greetings!
ALL SAINTS' NEW WEBSITE!
CHECK IT OUT & CREATE YOUR PROFILE
Our new website is up and running!!! We hope that you will find it visually appealing, informative and easy to navigate. The homepage features a colorful banner slide show and highlight articles. There is a Warden's column that will become the Rector's column once a permanent priest is on board. If you had our old website bookmarked, you will have to re-enter it again to be redirected, or just click HERE and bookmark it again. Although mobile devices won't get the full impact of the graphics and photos, all the information is still accessible. It is a work in progress, with nearly 80 more photos and slideshows to be posted, and some ministry areas awaiting more info. In the meantime, you can still...
Find out what's happening!
On the home page, you can check out the live event feed in the "Altar column" not only at All Saints', but the entire Diocese. There is a link to the Duty Roster page as well as a Calendar At-A-Glance that gives a quick overview of what's happening around the property on any given day. On the menu bar, the SPOTLIGHT tab will feature videos and slide shows of recent events and currently has the full version of the Ke Akua Youth Group's mission. A Sesquicentennial slide show will be up soon.
Did you know?
There is a lot going on at All Saints'! Check out our ministry links under the Our Ministries tab as well as all of our Outreach programs, past E-News & Kauaian issues and much more. Under the About Us tab, we have the history of All Saints, and coming soon, a nostalgic slide show of of All Saints' in its early days.

Stewardship Training & Dinner
Tomorrow! Saturday, September 29
There will be a stewardship dinner and training session for all church members on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 5:00 pm, in the Sloggett Hall. The training session will be led by Rev. Maurice "Rusty" Goldsmith, who is currently on sabbatical on Kaua'i. Rev. Rusty is an Episcopal priest with over 30 years of experience specializing in the theology of stewardship.
Rev. Rusty will explain how stewardship is not about fundraising, but about living from a perspective of faithful generoisty and about how central it is to our identity and life as Christians. This meeting is part of a renewed effort at All Saints' to focus on stewardship education and programs that have been neglected over the past years. For more information, contact the church office at 822-4267.
A MESSAGE FROM THE TREASURER
In case you missed it, be sure to read an important message from our Treasurer, Jan Hashizume, that appeared in the e-news last week. Click HERE to read the artricle in its entirety on our new website.)

NEW GYM LIGHTS ARE IN!!! Check it out!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Antone & Edene Vidinha Trust, new gym lights have been installed. These flourescent fixtures not only save energy (and cost) they are fixed with wire cages for protection, opening up the possibilities for more types of sports in the gym. They are also incredibly bright! Many thanks to Ron's Electric for doing a great job in less than 2 days! The youth are already planning for an indoor soccer tournament in December! |
