Greetings!
IT'S KICK-OFF SUNDAY!
The choir and Sunday school will be back in action beginning this Sunday, September 9! The choir met at Gail Weir's house for their first practice and lots of fellowship last week, and are looking forward to a great year ahead. It's not too late to join! Practices will take place on Thursday evenings in the church from 6:00 pm, except for September 13, which will begin at 5:30 pm.
Sunday School Open House
All children ages 3 - 10, are invited to Sunday school. Teachers and students will meet in church and process off to their new classrooms in Memorial Hall at the start of the second service. During the coffee hour, all are invited to check out the new classroom set-up!
HUGE MAHALOS to Steve Bauman, for his massive efforts in getting the new folding doors in Memorial Hall installed this week, just in time for the start of Sunday school. Wayne Doliente and Bob Terao were on hand to help with the heavy lifting, and Jean Nakamoto and Janis Wright were also there to offer support and help change the door knobs.
SHOUT OUT FOR HELP TODAY (Friday, September 7)
If anyone is available today at 4:00 pm, we will be setting up the classrooms, and need help moving lots of furniture and getting some general cleaning done. |

Upcoming Clergy
We are so grateful to all the clergy that have been coming to All Saints' while we are without a permanent rector. Many thanks to Bishop Chang for his great sermons and insight on Stewardship that he shared with us these past two Sundays. All Saints' is definitely in good hands with the many wonderful clergy filling in.
Clergy for upcoming Sundays are as follows:
September 9 &16 - Rev. Gaylord Hitchcock
September 23 - Rev. Bob Walden
September 30 - Bishop Bob Fitzpatrick
October 7 - Rev. Dan Leatherman
We give thanks and praise for these clergy who fly over to spend their Sundays with our All Saints' ohana, and look forward to welcoming them! |

Season after Pentecost
Lord of all power and might, the author and giver of all good things: Grant in our hearts the love of your Name; increase in us true religion; nourish us with all goodness; and bring forth in us the fruit of good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
