Welcome Rev. Paula Clark!

Paula Clark at Taylor ordWe are so delighted to have the Rev. Paula Clark with us here at All Saints', and hope she's enjoying her time here on Kaua'i.  Rev. Paula will be with us through August 26, while she is on sabbatical.  During this time, she will be celebrating Sunday services with us, but Wednesday healing services and all other priestly duties will still be handled by Pastor Robin of Christ Memorial Church in Kilauea.  Pastor Robin can be reached through Chris Wataya, the Church Administrator, at 822-4267.  We thank Rev. Clark for choosing to be with us.   ALOOOOHA!!!

The 7th Annual Fun In Fellowship Dodgeball Tournament takes place this week, July 27 & 28.  Thanks once again to the Antone & Edene Vidinha Charitable Trust for the generous grant to keep this event going for another year!  We are still in need of a few more referees. We also still have room in our dodgeball program for ads.  Advertise your business or cheer on a favorite team!  Deadline for ads is Tuesday evening, and forms can be downloaded HERE.  If you would like more information or to volunteer, e-mail Sybil.  Most importantly, SPREAD THE WORD and come on down to join in the fun and fellowship!!!  For more information, players can go to the event home page HERE .

All Saints' Saturday Market Update
Next Market: August 4 - Kapa'a Girls Soccer team to hold car wash
Saturday Market collage
The first All Saints' Saturday Market was held on July 7, and was a great learning experience with lots of positive feedback from vendors.  The ladies of the ECW led the charge with our own All Saints' booth featuring lots of yummy baked goods, gently used items for sale and grilled cheese sandwiches served up with a smile!  Organizers David Murray and Chris Wataya are very happy to see more vendors joining in the mix.  The next market will be held on August 4,  from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  The Kapa'a High School girl's soccer team will also be holding a car wash at the Sloggett Building, so come on down and get your car washed while shopping for some great products!

Season after Pentecost
Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
