Seeking flower donations for this Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend
The Sunday school children and teachers will be cleaning and decorating the graveyard and Columbarium on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, May 27. Although the holiday is a time to honor those that have defended our country, it has also been a fitting time to remember all of our loved ones that have gone on to join our Heavenly Father. If you would like to donate flower cuttings and greenery, please leave them by the sink between the graveyard and Columbarium Saturday evening or Sunday morning, May 27. |

Mahalo Supply Clergy!
Our list of supply clergy continues to grow, and we are so blessed to have the opportunity to listen to some fine sermons from visiting priests. Many thanks to Fr. Bob Walden who returned on Mother's Day, and this past Sunday, members got an informative history lesson from Rev. Linda Decker!
This coming Sunday, May 27, Bishop Chang returns on a day when we have our follow-up Church Hall Meeting. Services for this Sunday are at 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., to allow for the breakfast meeting taking place between the two services.
Coming up, June 3rd will be morning prayers only, but we look forward to the Reverends Dale Burke, John Connell and Daniel Leatherman over the next few weeks.
Thank you to all the clergy for making the early morning journey to Kaua'i and spending their Sundays with us! We appreciate all of the wisdom and deep faith that they share! |

The Day of Pentecost: Whitsunday
Almighty God, who on this day didst open the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of thy Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
