THE APRIL ISSUE OF THE KAUAIAN IS OUT!
Click HERE to read the latest happenings at All Saints'!
Greetings!

Survey  deadlline is Monday, April 30!
Have you completed and/or turned in your church survey?  The first phase of the search process is nearing completion, but your input is vital to help our Vestry proceed further.  The survey that was discussed at the first Church Hall Meeting on April 15, is due by Monday, April 30.  Be sure to bring your completed surveys to church this Sunday, or better yet, take the survey on-line by clicking on the link below!  Surveys are available at the front entrance of the church along with copies of Canon Liz's Shared Ministries Report, which can also be downloaded by clicking on the Shared Ministries link below.  The information gathered from the survey will be compiled and presented to the Vestry before their next meeting on May 21. If for some reason you are unable to complete it by Monday but still want to provide input, please see our wardens, Galen Nakamura or David Murray, or e-mail the church office.

A follow-up meeting with the results will be scheduled soon, so stay tuned!
discohana
Discohana!!!  All Saints' Preschool Fundraiser!
The annual Preschool fundraiser will be taking place on Saturday, April 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the All Saints' Gym.  They will be holding their Discohana, a night of dancing, fun and food, plus a raffle!  Tickets are $6.  Donations accepted.  For more information, see Chris Wataya or Jessica Williams.
Thank you Clergy!

All Saints' was treated to a wonderful service with former Rector, Bishop Chang, this past Sunday.  It's always a pleasure to have Bishop Chang and his wife Dee with us, who spent many years and share so many great memories (and stories!).

Bob WaldenThis Sunday, April 29, All Saints' will be welcoming back another very familiar face in Fr. Bob Walden.  Fr. Bob was the Rector of All Saints' for 18 years, so there's a lot of history shared with long-time members.

Other supply clergy who will be spending their Sundays with All Saints include Fr. John Connell and Linda Decker!  We thank all these great clergy for joining us.

Seeking Breakfast Hosts

With the prospect of using supply clergy for a bit longer, we are looking for a few willing people to act as a host to take our visiting clergy to breakfast between services.  Would you like the opportunity to get to know these wonderful people better?  If so, please let Chris know at 822-4267, or email her.  If you'd like to be reimbursed, be sure to submit your receipt to Chris.

Services for Mollie Ching
Funeral services for our beloved church member Mollie Ching, will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints' Church.  The funeral is private, but all church members are invited to attend.  Please keep the Ching family in your prayers through this difficult time.

Seeking pictures & rememberances of Fr. Miner

MinerSt. Michael's is putting together an album of memories for Fr. Miner's wife, Imogene, that will be presented to her at a later date.  If you have anything you would like to share, All Saints' is putting together a few pages of memories and we are seeking photos or reflections from All Saints' members to add to it.  You can e-mail items to: halelani@hawaiiantel.net, or if you prefer, you may send your items directly to St Michael's at 4364 Hardy Street, Lihue, 96766. A Memorial Fund to honor his legacy has been established at St. Michael's Church.  You may make checks payable to St. Michael's Church and note in the memo line, "Malcolm Miner". Please continue to keep Imogene and the Miner family in your prayers.

Fourth Sunday of Easter
O God, whose Son Jesus is the good shepherd of thy people: Grant that when we hear his voice we may know him who calleth us each by name, and follow where he doth lead; who, with thee and the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
