Click HERE to read the latest happenings at All Saints'!
Greetings!

Welcoming familiar and new faces to All Saints'!
Church members were treated to a delightful sermon this past Sunday with Fr. Malcolm Miner.  Joyful laughter erupted throughout the 9:30 service, with a message that was loud and clear!  Jesus loves us!  At 90+ years, Fr. Miner may say he's moving a little slower these days, but he still knows how to capture an audience with his wit and wisdom!

For Holy Week, we will continue to welcome some wonderful clergy to All Saints'.  On Palm Sunday, the Rev. Daniel Leatherman will be back to lead this special service that marks the beginning of Holy Week.  The Rev. Robin Taylor will be here for the Wednesday Healing Eucharist and then on Good Friday, she will be back to lead the Stations of the Cross with the youth at 11:00 a.m., followed by a noon Liturgy.  (Reminder: There will be no evening service on Good Friday.)  On Easter, the Rev. Diane Martinson-Koyama will be with us for both services at 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.  We are so grateful to have these wonderful clergy spend this very important and holy time with our church family.

The Ke Akua Youth Group's Rummage & Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  There are TONS of great items and lots of clothing, furniture, books, toys, household wares, electronic equipment and so much more!  Be sure to come early for the delicious baked goods that always disappear quickly!  But be sure to stick around and enjoy some great food being served up in the food booth too!

The youth are still accepting donations, as well as plants and baked goods that can be dropped off the evening of March 30th, or early on the day of the sale.

Funds raised will help send our youth to Los Angeles this summer to do mission work in Skid Row.  Please keep them in your prayers as they discern and prepare for their trip.

ECW Preparing Easter Goody Bags this Sunday
The ladies of the ECW will be preparing goody bags for the KEO Homeless children this Sunday, April 1, after the 9:30 service in Memorial Hall.  "It is such a blessing to be abe to help them celebrate Easter," says Diane Sato, of the children who will be receiving the treats.  For those that signed up to bring items for the goody bags, please bring them at that time or beforehand.  If you have any questions, contact Diane at 822-3776.
Sewing for Haiti! Calling all seamstresses!!!
bagMary Margaret Smith and Janet Wilson are gearing up for their trip to Haiti coming up in a few short weeks, and need help with sewing small bags for school supplies.  If you have access to a sewing machine, your help is greatly needed!  The bags are small and very simple to make, but best of all, the pieces are cut and ready to sew!  If you'd like to help out, please call Mary at 822-2878.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS!

In the tradition of a "Town Hall Meeting", All Saints' Church will be holding a "Church Hall Meeting" on Sunday, April 15, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m., in the Sloggett Hall.  A delicious breakfast will be served.  Early service attendees---don't rush off to your usual breakfast spot on this day, and 9:30 service members don't have to worry about making breakfast!  More importantly, this is the first step in our process to call a new Rector, and to discern the future direction of All Saints'.  By attending, you are taking an active role in helping our congregation.  Above all, continue to pray for our church.  Pray that we all be open to His voice and to do His will.  Although our youth are encouraged to attend, there will be childcare services provided for our youngest ones.

Please mark your calendars for this very important meeting!

Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday
Almighty and everlasting God, who, of thy tender love towards mankind, hast sent thy Son our Savior Jesus Christ to take upon him our flesh, and to suffer death upon the cross , that all mankind should follow the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may both follow the example of his patience, and also be made partakers of his resurrention; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
