Fresh Asparagus is HERE!
We've tasted it and boy is it great!
Coming from Grossnickle Farms, Lutz Farms, and Friske Orchards.
Fresh from the fields to your door, available in several pack sizes, all
field run (not sorted for size). Try splitting the larger spears in half, lay them out like a open book on a sheet pan, drizzle with EVOO, and place a thin slice of Grassfields Organic Gouda over each split spear. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until the Gouda is a bubbly and golden. Nummy! As a reminder, much of what we sell from our local farms comes in returnable plastic field totes, for which we charge you a deposit and give you credit when they are returned.
Fresh Michigan Rhubarb is here from Morley Farms and Friske Orchards. Try making Rhubarb Chutney, Preserves, or a Rhubarb/Balsamic Gastrique for chicken, salmon or pork.
