Workman's Comp Update

If you are having problems with your workman's comp coverage, there is a website for you. There is a review committee who would like to hear your input. This website is www.sunset.state.tx.us.

FYI

I am reading a book called Excitotoxins which deals with MSG and aspartame (Nutrasweet). The book is titled Excitotoxins - The Taste That Kills by Dr. Russell L. Blaylock. It explains with actual studies listed what can happen to brain cells when exposed to these foods additives. I highly recommend this for anyone who experiences a lot of sensitivity to these ingredients or has a lot of headaches.

Compounding Updates!

As you may have noticed in the late June 2004 newspaper, there was an article concerning estrogen therapy and increase of dementia & Alzheimer's disease. This information was derived from the latest JAMA magazine which we have copies.

The article can be downloaded from the JAMA website Jama.ama-assn.org.  Copies of newspaper articles are available for your reading at our pharmacy. The article list Premarin as the drug used in these studies. We compound a bio-identical alternative which we would be happy to discuss with you and your doctor. Copies of all above materials are available for your reading at our pharmacy.
