2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Canola Oil
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
3 Cups Flour (Not Self Rising)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
Dash of Allspice
3 Medium Or 4 Small Pears - Cored and Chopped
1 Cup Nuts Chopped (Pecans Are What I Use)
Preheat oven to 325F.
Beat eggs, combine with sugar, oil, and vanilla. Mix well. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, and allspice. Mix with egg mixture. Add pears, and nuts. Place equally into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pans. Bake at 325F for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Check after 1 hour as ovens vary. Mom uses walnuts in her bread.
