Book Worth Reading
 
What makes a book credible with its knowledge to you? For one thing, I like to see lots of studies listed to back up what they're saying and I want the ability to follow them up. Second, if medical, it carries more weight if it's written by someone in the medical field who is active in the particular field he or she is writing about. That is why "No More Heart Disease" by Dr. Louis J. Ignarro was awarded the Nobel Prize in medicine in 1998 for his discovery concerning the cardiovascular system. If you have heart problems or have a family history of heart problems, this is an excellent book to read.

          Your name
          Your phone number
          Your old pharmacy name and their phone number
          The prescription number or numbers
          Your doctor's name (and their phone number is great, too)
4.) Any insurance information
5.) We'll handle the rest

KATHY'S KORNER

Salmon Patties
 
1 can (approx. 15 oz.) salmon
2 eggs
1 c. bread or cracker crumbs
1/4 c. finely diced onion
1/4 c. finely diced celery (opt.)
Oil for frying

Drain salmon. Flake salmon apart. Add eggs, 1/2 c. crumbs, onion and celery. Mix well. Form into 6-8 patties with hands. Coat each patty with other 1/2 c. crumbs. Fry patties in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain on platter lined with paper towels. Can use Pam Spray but patties will be dryer in texture. Serve with corn and salad.
