New At Our Pharmacy

We recently attended a local training session for some new products at our pharmacy. Several have FDA approval. Some of the new products are geared toward cholesterol problems, lung problems, detoxing, weight and immune defense. Most carry a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We have recently enlarged our tea section. We have also enlarged our herbal lines. We have several sources so if you have a special need, let us know. We may have the resource.

Compounding For You

Lately several pain medicines as well as several other prescription medications have been unavailable due to problems from the manufacturer. At our compounding pharmacy, we have met several of our patient needs for these products by compounding them for the patients with their doctor's authorization.

If you medications are unavailable, contact us or your doctor to see if we can help you through that difficult situation.

Flu and pneumonia shots are available at our pharmacy.
Mon - Fri 9am - 5:45pm
Sat 9am - 12:45pm
The shot for Shingles is available at this time.
It does require a prescription from your doctor.

How does your garden grow? The month of February we pulled from our garden and ate the following -
lettuce, collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, onion, garlic, and turnips, as well as a lot of fresh herbs. All of these made it and continued growing through the winter.

We have planted fresh onion sets, potatoes, lettuces, sweet peas, and I am continuing to add fresh water to my sweet potato slips. We have added some new asparagus plants to our asparagus beds. They take 2-3 years to make an impressive cutting. Well worth the trouble though.

Plan out and plant your permanent plants such as asparagus and herbs, then plant your temporary plants around them. A small yard can feed a family of 4 all summer and part of the winter if planned out well.

Happy Gardening!

Vegetable Egg Scramble
1/2 small onion chopped
1/2 small bell pepper chopped
3-4 medium new potatoes chopped
4-6 mushrooms chopped
1/2 c. shredded cheese
4 eggs, beaten with 2 T. milk

In large skillet, place 3-4 T. canola oil and heat. Place chopped new potatoes in hot oil and stir occasionally to prevent sticking and burning. When partially cooked through, add other vegetables and continually stir. When onions are turning clear, add eggs and continue stirring. When eggs are scrambled, place on dinner plate and immediately top with cheese. Serve with salsa and toast. You can add chopped ham when adding other vegetables, if desired.
