Dear Friends of Pacific Yoga,

Over the years we have had numerous requests for ways that graduates can stay involved in our training programs and continue to meet in community.

We are offering the opportunity for Pacific Yoga graduates to participate as Reviewers or Assistants in our next 200-hour training May 4 - December 16, 2012.  Please take a look at these two new programs described below and email us if you are interested.

Sincerely,

Theresa & Kathryn

Reviewer Program
Reinforce what you have learned and explore new avenues with a different group.  This is such a valuable way to learn that last year we had four Reviewers in our 500-hour program!

This is also an opportunity for those who have not finished the 200-hour requirement from our previous programs to complete their work. All graduates who successfully complete our program and pass all tests are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance.

Payment options are listed below. To enroll, fill out the first page of the application form. There is no need to answer the application questions again. Simply indicate on the application form which payment option you are choosing.

Cost for reviewers: $2100 ($1500 savings). Payment options:
  • Full Pay: Full payment of $2100 must be received by April 25, 2012.
  • Payment Plan: A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is due by April 25, 2012. In addition, two payments of $550 are due June 1 and July 1. Please include two checks postdated with the dates listed above at the time of application.

Assistant Program
Graduates who meet the requirements are also eligible to assist in teacher trainings.  We have heard time and time again what an amazing process it is to step out of the student role and learn from the perspective of the teacher.  Assistants will work with both Kathryn and Theresa and register for a minimum of 25 hours. Scheduling of these hours will be arranged after May 1, 2012. We will do our best to schedule times you request, but we cannot guarantee specific dates. Please see weekend dates and topics posted online under the 200-hour program.

If you are considering our next 500-hour program (begins February, 2013) these assisting hours fulfill the apprenticeship requirement, and students will receive a $100 discount off tuition. This is a huge time saver because assistants enter the 500-hour program with this experience and do not need to arrange these hours while enrolled.  If these hours are not used to fulfill the apprenticeship hours, they may be used as make-up hours should you have to miss parts of your 500-hour training.

These positions can fill quickly and space is limited.  If you are interested reply with an email and we will get you started.

Cost: The 25-hour minimum fee is $500. Fees for more assisting hours available upon request.
