Don't get us started on the food. If you EVER get a chance to visit, be prepared for the most delicious meal of your life. After the first day, the standing joke was, "so what's for dinner?" One evening we walked over to the Icicle Creek outdoor amphitheater, spread out blankets under the stars, and listened to fabulous folk musicians playing music. They came from all over the country to teach their own retreat, and this was their night to "walk the talk." In their case it meant performing music they had written themselves.
They were not famous, but they had enormous talent and were clearly devoted to teaching and performing their craft. In a way, it felt like we were among great yogis as they created an atmosphere of trust, relaxation and bliss.
We've enjoyed our teacher training retreats in Leavenworth so much, we are pleased to announce our first
open-to-the-public Pacific Yoga Fall Retreat at Sleeping Lady Resort in 2012. After several years of requests, bribes and downright arm twisting, this retreat is slated for next year and is open to those with a minimum 200-hour teaching credential. See details below.
Sincerely,
Theresa & Kathryn
