Public Policy Forum a Success!

Greetings!

NIB associated agencies "Made a Difference" on Capitol Hill today!

Armed with a strategy, know-how and three clear messages after two days of Public Policy Forum programs, NIB associated agency teams from various states fanned out across the Hill for more than 100 scheduled meetings with their senators and members of Congress to urge that barriers to more jobs and more sales through the AbilityOne Program be torn down.

The Hill visits were supported with front page advertising in the popular Washington Post Express newspaper, which also featured an ad on the inside front cover listing all new and current AbilityOne Congressional champions. The Express ads were handed out to Congressional staff at the NIB Rally Room in the Rayburn House Office Building.  The paper reaches an estimated 315,000 readers throughout the Washington, D.C. area, and is distributed at 90 Metro train stops.
